After reports saying that Google’s newest algorithm update, the Google Penguin 4.0, will be released this year, the world’s biggest search engine decided to roll the said update on 2016.
Google informed various SEO-news agencies that because of the holiday season, the said company will adjust the release date until next year.
Google’s Penguin 4.0 is known to be one of the first of its kind. The said algorithm updates all sites’ rank in real time. It is also said that links will now be indexed immediately to ensure accurate results throughout various queries from search engine traffic.
Although Google already stated that it won’t roll the update this year, they didn’t state any clear date for its application. John Mueller, Google’s Webmaster Trends Analyst, said that they will not release any statement regarding Google Penguin’s activation.
“Um, I don’t want to make any date promises but I am hopeful that things are lined up. Since it was kind of on the edge for this year, I’m pretty confident that that’s good enough for January.” Mueller said on a Google+ hangout video.
Although Mueller stated that Google Penguin 4.0 might run on January, he informed his viewers that there will be no “announcements” for it yet.
Google Penguin 4.0 is expected to affect small time business owners as they are more prone to black hat SEO (which usually consists of bad links.) With this, users can expect tons of rank pages every day.
YourTrafficHit believes that organic traffic is one of the best traffic that any website owners could acquire. Aside from buying targeted traffic packages from real website traffic suppliers, the said traffic supplier thinks that website owners should also allot time for optimization. Sending consistent traffic to a client’s site may improve his/her rankings, but it may not suffice to “fix” the possible punishments from Google’s update.
As of now, YourTrafficHits continuously monitors Google and its updates to ensure that their clients will be informed in real time. This is to improve their client’s ability to be successful in SEO.
